STORY ABOUT JAEJOONG FROM HANKYUNG

The first time Han Geng saw Jaejoong, the thing he remembered the most was his eyes. Jaejoong has a pair of extremely beautiful eyes. His eye pupil's are very black, very bright, and is even prettier than a girl’s eyes. He is like someone handsome right out from a comic. Although he has seen Heechul, which has a similar famous beautiful appearance, Han Geng still feels shocked by Jaejoong’s appearance. Although Jaejoong’s appearance brings a feminine resemblance, his appearance also gives people a really cold feeling. His two arms wiggle forward, like a queer bird flapping it’s wings, one hand pointed at the sky and the other hand pointed at the floor, then he started running and turning around in circles, after a few circles he start shaking his hand and feet causing Han Geng and the others to look dumbfoundedly. When they finally started responding, everyone was drop to the floor laughing their hearts out, Han Geng laugh till he almost breathless, he never would have thought that Kim Jaejoong, such a pretty-faced guy, would have such a humor in him

.After that, as Han Geng slowly understand him more, he started liking him more. Jaejoong is a kind and considerate person. Although he may look cold on the outside, he is very kind and warm in the inside. Once, when Han Geng was not feeling well, Jaejoong was the only one that found out. Jaejoong gave him medicine and even made porridge for him, that really touched Han Geng. Both them instantly became best friends, Jaejoong can talk a lot, love telling cold jokes, love to play around, and always make Han Geng laughs. The “ cold impression and beautiful Jaejoong” that he first seen has gone to don’t know which planet.

Jaejoong also likes Han Geng. Han Geng also don’t know why but compared with the other people in the same dormitory, Jaejoong was closer to him. When Jaejoong was a mere 10 age plus boy, he once sold his blood for a meal, even walk till he fainted just to save the transportation money needed. Han Geng was naturally impressed with Jaejoong which was two years younger than him. Jaejoong has a strong determined heart.

But all those are already in the past. The Jaejoong now can finally realize his dream under the name of TVXQ. Han Geng will feel happy everytime he sees Jaejoong’s cheerful face. Han Geng knows that the Jaejoong who sees his dream and friendship more important than anything else, not only has dream, but also the TVXQ members that he cares deeply. Tvxq 4th album mirotic 300,000 preorders.

Dong Bang Shin Gi’s 4th album that is set to release on the 24th has exceeded 300, 000 preorders. The record was formly held by Seo Taiji in 2004 for his first album, it’s a remarkable result when you consider the fact that 190, 000 was the highest number of albums sold last year.

Making their comeback after a year and 7 months later, they are receiving much attention due to the volume of sales. Album ordering sites were so heavily congested with traffic when their album was available for preorder. This is possibly the most excellent way to start off 4th album activities.

Also, Dong Bang Shin Gi’s 3rd album, ‘O’ - Thesis.Antithesis.Synthesis claimed the best selling album of 2006 with 349,317 albums sold.Furthermore, 25,000 spectators attended Dong Bang Shin Gi’s mini concert in Seoul on the 21st.

There had been reports in Korea, starting from the 20th Sept, fans had been queuing at the City Hall Lawn, hoping to get the best seat to see their favorite stars.And it isn't just a small number of them. Dong Bang Shin Ki held their fourth album showcase at Seoul’s City Hall to promote their fourth Korean album “Mirotic” and held what they called an “Autumn Mini-Concert.” Fans swarmed the historically important site and started queuing up to see the five boys in action as early as three days in advance. Like in their previous showcases, DBSK performed tracks off their upcoming record and interacted with their fans. Before the showcase, the five held a press conference at the Seoul Plaza Hotel and discussed their plans, what it’s like to be back in Korea after more than a year and a half, and their new concept/image for their fourth album.

DBSK’S “MIROTIC” #1 ON DOSIRAK JUST 3 DAYS AFTER IT’S REVEAL

Dong Bang Shin Ki who is coming back with their 4th album has already occupied the #1 position online on Dosirak chart.

JUNSU, CHANGMIN and JAEJOONG wrote lyrics for MIROTIC

Interest in TVXQ’s 4th album “MIROTIC” becomes hotter with every day. Its planned release date is September 24. Included in this album are the reverse beat dance song ‘주문-MIROTIC,’ which has a sophisticated melody and intoxicating chorus, and ballad, R&B, acid jazz, remakes, and more that makes a variety of 12 songs.

Two TVXQ members have participated in writing the songs. Junsu wrote ‘노을.. 바라보다’ (Look at.. the Sunset), a ballad which showcases TVXQ’s vocals, and is about wanting to protect your girl with your heart. It has impressive and emotional lyrics. From their 3rd Japanese album “T,” ChangMin wrote the Korean version lyrics to the heart-wrenching ballad song ‘Love in the Ice.’

This 4th album shows TVXQ in attractive, new, diverse songs. The sophisticated ‘Wrong Number’ has grooves with a dark, mysterious atmosphere that features for the first time JaeJoong’s rap.

With an electronic beat and strings’ harmonic melody, ‘CRAZY LOVE,’ written by famous lyricist Kim Young Hoo, is about a man who doesn’t want to give up on the woman he loves, and makes a pledge. In addition, Lee Yong’s hit song ‘잊혀진 계절’ (Forgotten Season) in the 1980s will be newly made into JaeJoong’s solo, which will expose it to the younger generation.

'M I R O T I C' TVXQ's fourth album

Finally, the wait is over! Korea's sensational boy band Dong Bang Shin Ki releases their fourth full-length Korean album Mirotic, much to the excitement of fans who have been waiting patiently for almost two years. The album's title Mirotic comes from the Korean word "miro" (which means "maze") and the English suffix "-tic"; together, the title is intended to mean being warped into the depths of a labyrinth. 1년 7개월만의 화려한 컴백!
헤어나올 수 없는 미로처럼, 동방신기 음악에 사로잡힐 것이다!

아시아를 무대로 눈부신 성과를 이룬 동방신기(SM 엔터테인먼트 소속)가 오는 9월 24일 정규 4집 앨범을 발표하고, 국내 무대에 금의 환향한다. 특히 4집 앨범 ‘MIROTIC’은 동방신기가 1년 7개월만에 국내에 발표하는 정규 앨범인 만큼 음악팬들은 물론 가요관계자들의 눈과 귀도 집중시키고 있는 상황이다.

Tvxq voices helped Taiwan fan awake from koma.

21 years old Zhuang Xiao Han, is a die-hard fan of Korean famous boyband, TVXQ ( DBSK ) . Last year, she got into an accident and was seriously injured. The doctor announced that she will not be able to live more than 3 days. Zhuang's mum did not give up, she played TVXQ songs 24 hours everyday, and her daughter woke up! Zhuang's mum said, "I really thank TVXQ for letting me see a miracle."

Last year March, around 11pm at night, Zhuang Xiao Han was riding her bike home and got into an accident. She was sent to the Xiao Gang Hospital (小港醫院), doctor said that her head was seriously injured and she will not be able to live more than 3 days.

Zhuang's mum sobs and said, " I know she really likes TVXQ, so I played TVXQ songs everyday, in hope that she will survive. I don't care if she will become a vegetable, as long as she survive." Alas, she survived the 3 days, and was in a coma for 7 months, until one day, she miraculously woke up.

Zhuang's mum smiled and said, "I played TVXQ songs everyday, until the cd player spoilt. When she woke up, the first thing she said to her Dad was, to help her buy TVXQ's new album."

TVXQ will be having a concert at Taipei next month, 10th May 2008. Xiao Han's story spreads around Cassiopeias online. When the organiser of the concert heard of this news, they gave Xiao Han VIP tickets to TVXQ concert, a voucher to stay at Wang Han Hotel (王朝飯店) and a TVXQ album. During the period of her coma, Xiao Han went through a total of 5 operations.

When she received TVXQ Concert tickets, she was so happy and she tried her best to say, "Thank You."

About TVXQ and their military service

Tohoshinki to be drafted into the militaryAccording to a lot of fan sites, Yunho from Tohoshinki has received a letter requesting him to render compulsory military service in Korea as most males ages 19-22 (of Korean nationality) will face in the country.

The 5-unit all-male group originated from Korea under SM Entertainment now has moved to Japan under the Rhythm Zone label (avex group) and has enjoyed a big fandom in East Asia, doing concerts in countries like Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Taiwan.

This wasn't the first time a Korean male celebrity was drafted into the military. The R&B group in Korea, G.O.D., had been drafted more than a year ago and has disbanded ever since. Shinhwa, another all-male group also from SM Entertainment had also been requested to serve but will enlist on 2008.

There have been reports that SM Entertainment will find a way to move the start of the service to 2 years from now as starting the service now might prove detrimental to the group. The group is set to have their first concert in Thailand on December 15th and Xiah Junsu, one of the members, is busy with the Anyband concert in Korea this November 27th. Anyband is the newest ad campaign by Anycall, a mobile service carrier in Korea famous for having famous music stars as endorsers for their mobile carrier service. Some of these stars include BoA, Jin Bora, Tablo of Epik High, etc.

It has been discussed that if ever one of the members of TVXQ will have to render military service, the group plans to sign-up together. Some fans have also said that "Hero" Jaejoong, another member of the group, might not be required to render service because of a rule exempts the 'only sons' of Korean families.

TVXQ Attracts 390,000 Fans During Asia Tour

SM Entertainment says five-member group TVXQ attracted some 390,000 audience members during their 16-month tour around Asia.

TVXQ's Asian tour began in February, 2007, after it swept the 2006 year-end awards ceremony in 2006. Over the 16-month period, the group performed in six Asian cities including Seoul, Taipei, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai and Beijing, attracting a total of 390,000 audience members along the way.

TVXQ was the subject of much talk throughout the concert period. One website crashed after 300,000 fans rushed onto the site to reserve tickets, TVXQ set the record for being the number one foreign artist to attract the largest number of audience members two years in a row, and 125 stores at a Thai department store were forced to close down temporarily after 15,000 fans and reporters flocked to the venue of the press conference.

In October last year, one of the scheduled concerts in Taiwan was canceled due to a typhoon, and the group members returned to Taiwan earlier this year in May to keep their promise to their fans.

TVXQ plans to release a brand new album in Korea in the Fall.

Yunho
I went back to my hometown and went mountain climbing with family and friends. Although we took a cable car halfway up the mountain, but we walked all the way up to the halfway point first. After that, I attended a party with Jaejoong. I met up with my classmates from my first year in high school that I haven’t seen in a long time. It was a class gathering. Around 18 of us gathered a restaurant my friend owns and talked about what we have been doing while enjoying the night scenery together. It was very enjoyable.In the year 2008, I want to teach myself the piano and to apply it to make our harmony more flexible. I’ve even bought the books needed to learn to play the piano

Yoochun
I went to the ski resort with my friends in Korea and tried skiing, something I haven’t done in a year. Actually, Changmin was supposed to go skiing with us but he caught a cold…. How good I am in skiing? Although I cannot do those jumps or 180 degree turns, I must say I have some skill (in skiing). My manager who went along got a shock and said that I was very good. I even brought my dog to play in the ski resort.My goal for this year is, my fear of heights….Yeah, it’s impossible (laughs). Oh yeah, I want to build a house where I can stay with my family. The members have also supported me in my decision. (Gives a shocked expression when talking about the members~)

Junsu
I went to play soccer with a bunch of my friends from high school. We played 6 on 6 and shot in many goals like footballers and the result was 20-18. Because there weren’t enough people, the goal keeper was practically non existent. I won by shooting 9 goals in 20 minutes. After that I went a restaurant that I always went to when I was a kid and before my debut. We reminisced about a lot of things as a family and had a relaxing time.My goal for the year is to compose good songs. I would like to compose a song that regardless of genre or nationality, no matter who listens to it, they’ll say ‘This song is good’.

Jaejoong
I went on a holiday to the villages with my friends. We left on the 1st of January and I drove about 5 hours or so before reaching. Although we stayed there for 5 days, but compared to that, the only thing I can remember is that I drove…… Something’s wrong. These 5 days flew past quickly compared to half a year of schedules. (laughs). And because of the crude oil spillage in Korea last year, I volunteered to clean the beach. Changmin and his father participated.My goal for the year: because I have many problems with my body, in order to let my bones and muscles to become stronger, I want to go to the gym. Then I would also like to work even harder to finish an incomplete song and release it in our CD. My goal is to compose one more song compared to Junsu.

Changmin
Although I participated in the volunteer activities, however because I was sick for majority of the break, it was a holiday that only comes once in a long time but I didn’t really go out to play. I just kept sleeping…. Although I went to the ski resort with Yoochun, but I got a cold after the day I arrived so I could only stay in the resort and sleep. I didn’t ski at all and didn’t even touch snow. Why did this happen? On the first day back, I thought [What did I do during the break] and was so upset I could’ve cried.I would like to learn to play the guitar this year because I wanted to learn it since last year but I didn’t do it in the end. I want to be able to sing and play the guitar simultaneously one day. And I want to be healthy *laughs*

Yunho 5 = Chose "5" to show that when he does something he wants to do it with all his members together

Changmin 2 = He wants to do his best and work his hardest while he is at the #2 spot ( work as hard as he can to get to #1)

Jaejoong 33 = He just likes the number 3. And "3" also reminds him of Korea and he actually wanted a bunch 3's as his number cause having just one looks boring. "three three" in korean ("sahm sahm") means that you seem/look "fresh" and "vivid"

Yoochun 0 = It means infinity!

Junsu 10 = The number 10 means the highest class in soccer . The "ace"(best) on the team gets the number 10


DBSK will be at Club Disney in January! In 2007, Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea will be having a special event at a winter garden called "Special Knight Disney Club". High popularity singers like TRF, AAA, and DBSK will be invited as special guests to be involved in the performances. Last year in February, Tokyo Disney held a similar "bayside beat" event, (an event put together around themes like hip hop, classical dance, and many other musical genres and dances). This year's special guests include dance group TRF and Korea's own DBSK who will be holding a LIVE performance!! Performance dates: 28 - 30 Jan 2007, from 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm.

1. Kim Heechul and U-KNOW Yunho
When ‘Cinderella’Kim Heechul entered SM Entertainment, he was arranged to live in the same hostel room with U-KNOW Yunho from TVfXQ!. These boys, who were still very young, soon became very close with each other. At that time, Heechul had very short hair, his skin was tanned, and he looked very experienced and capable. In fact, the clothes which he wore were not bright, emphasizing on dimmer colours. The truth is that Heechul should thank U-KNOW Yunho. During the SM Training days, U-KNOW Yunho was not that tall - around the same height as Heechul. U-KNOW Yunho has always been very simple person and he thinks that there should never be any misgivings between men. Hence, he naturally began to wear Heechul’s clothes. Despite countless warning given by Heechul, there was still no progress and thus, Heechul began to buy more colourful, attractive clothing whenever he shopped. Gradually, U-KNOW Yunho stopped to wear Heechul’s clothes. Nevertheless, there was another factor - U-KNOW Yunho was growing taller and he could not fit into Heechul’s clothes. Thanks to this incident, Heechul has found his true-clothing style.

2. Eeteuk, Eunhyuk and Xiah Junsu
Back then, Super Junior leader, Eeteuk, powerful dancer, Eunhyuk and TVfXQ! member, Xiah Junsu, lived close to each other and so, every time after practice, they would go home together. Eunhyuk and Xiah Junsu are very open and straightforward people. They would often blackmail the eldest and Eeteuk, being the patient and kind brother, would always try his best to satisfy these two younger brothers. In fact, if there was a request, Eeteuk would definitely fulfil it! Whatever the younger brothers wanted to eat, he would agree to it; whatever they wanted to play, he would pay the bills .As an older brother, his job is to take care for the younger brothers. Finally, there was one time when Eunhyuk and Xiah Junsu played so much to the extent where Eeteuk had no money to pay for the subway tickets. These three mischievous boys immediately thought of an idea. They bought two tickets and using the convenience of their small, skinny body, they managed to escape ticket inspection. Nowadays, where they no longer have the opportunity to ride on public transports, this is a very unforgettable memory to them.

3. Super Junior shows support for TVfXQ!
On Boxing Day 2003, it was the day when TVfXQ! performed for the first time on a TV station. After many years of training, the TVfXQ! members could finally debut smoothly and every single one of them was extremely nervous and excited. Not only did they share their happiness with each other, but the Super Junior boys were also involved. On the 26th of December, the people sitting in front of the TV in the TVfXQ! hostel were not TVfXQ! but instead, they were the Super Junior members -Heehchul, Eunhyuk, Donghae and etc. Before TVfXQ! appeared on stage, the boys called everybody they knew including their friends and relatives to watch and enjoy TVfXQ!’s first performance. Although TVfXQ! now handles such situations with maturity and talents; however, at that point in time, they were clenching with anxiety. Xiah Junsu even accidentally slipped on man-made snow flakes.

4. TVfXQ! members, in return, shows support for Super Junior
Super Junior members also shared the happiness with TVfXQ! members when they performed for the first time. On the 6th of November 2005, through the internet, the TVfXQ! members watched intensely for the final moment in Japan. U-KNOW Yunho who is very close with the Super Junior members, was so touched that he even cried on the spot. After Xiah Junsu finished watching the performance, he deliberately called the Super Junior members to congratulate them on their debut. Eeteuk, the leader who has cried many times in the past, could not refrain himself from crying after hearing his younger brothers had called from Japan. Thinking about that day, Eeteuk feels it was very comforting and touching. As for the other 11 members, they felt extremely overwhelmed by their first performance. On that day, since they did not eat earlier, every one of them had to perform with empty stomachs. When they cried and had a group hug, sounds of hunger from their stomachs could well be heard.

5. Max Changmin and Super Junior
TVfXQ! and Super Junior members are very close and they understand each other quite well. So, let’s hear about TVfXQ! from the Super Junior members! Well, ChoiKang Changmin is not only the youngest in TVfXQ!, all the other 12 Super Junior members are also his older brothers. On the outer appearance, ChoiKang Changmin looks cute and obedient ??he always has an innocent and clueless facial expression. However, the truth is that he is active to the max, and loves to play tricks and jokes on other people. Especially when he picks up the phone, no matter which older brother calls him, ChoiKang Changmin will always use an extremely happy tone in an extremely loud voice to scream: “Hyung! Is that you!” Even if the members just left a few moments ago or they just borrowed some cash from him, ChoiKang Changmin will still greet in a manner as though he has not seen his older brother for a long time.

6. Xiah Junsu and Kim Heechul
Xiah Junsu is well-known for his beautiful husky voice, and he has received many compliments from elderly ones and his peers. However, Xiah Junsu actually does not like to go to KTV to sing songs - from young till now, he has gone there for less than 10 times. In fact, once he has free time, Xiah Junsu would either play computer games / the internet or he would invite some friends over to play soccer. As he loves soccer so much, Kim Heechul from Super Junior even commented that, “The soccer ball is his wife!”

7. Xiah Junsu and Lee HyukJae [Eunhyuk]
TVfXQ! and Super Junior members had a poll to vote for the stingiest member, and Xiah Junsu was the winner. Hyukjae who has been around Xiah Junsu ever since their childhood, has the most power to comment. They have already know each other for 8 years and so their relationship is not the typical intimacy. Nevertheless, Xiah Junsu has never bought Hyukjae a meal before. At the same time, Hyukjae confessed that he is the same as Xiah Junsu. Xiah Junsu even further defended his stand, saying “In the not-too-distant future, I will pay for the meal, everybody can eat to the max!”
