Choi Kang Chang Min, Enthroned as TVXQ’s Casanova

Dong Bang Shin Gi’s Choi Kang Chang Min was singled out as the Casanova of the group.

On MBC’s ‘Yoo Jae Suk & Kim Won Hee’s Come To Play’ (Shortened form: ‘Come To Play’) broadcast on October 27th, Choi Kang Chang Min ranked first place when Young Woong Jae Joong surveyed it’s members when asked “Which person is most like casanova among Dong Bang Shin Gi?”

Choi Kang Chang Min drew attention because of the overwhelming lead even before the ranking was announced. Suddenly exposing his fellow member, Young Woong Jae Joong stated, “Choi Kang Chang Min sometimes in the car passes by 100’s of women and looks at all 100 of those women.” And “He won’t express anything but he’ll unconsciously remember which woman was wearing pretty clothes when we passed by” added member, U-Know Yunho.

Sitting in the rear of Choi Kang Chang Min was Micky Yoochun. “When Micky Yoochun finds a woman after his heart, his pupils dilate” stated Young Woong Jae Joong causing an uproar among the group. “If he really favors a woman then there’s a very intense glitter in his eyes,” confessed Young Woong Jae Joong.

DBSK: Around the World 60 Times

The sights of DBSK members hurrying through various international airports and avoiding grabby hands shouldn't be unfamiliar to any fans of the boys. According to estimated calculations, each of the members has logged approximately 300,000 miles in airline mileage since their first overseas activities in April 2004 up to September 2008.

For the folks not in the USA (no thank you metric), that is over 482,803 kilometers!

The circumference of the earth is around 40,000 kilometers, which means each of the boys could have circled the earth 12 times since 2004. The five of them together would have traveled 60 times around the world by now.

Another indication of the high demand outside of Korea for DBSK is the MKMF Overseas Award vote. DBSK is leading with over 95% of the votes at the moment. It seems Cassiopeia has mobilized and is ready to pull off anything for the end of the year award shows. Check out the current stats:

Han Hyo Joo Interview: "JaeJoong is still very unnatural"

Actress Han Hyo Joo delivered her promise to do her best in upcoming Japanese-Korean collaboration drama, "Heaven's Postman".

On the 22nd, Han Hyo Joo revealed through a phone interview that she liked the script ever since she saw it, and made the decision to accept the role. Also, the director was someone she'd worked with before in "Spring Waltz", adding to her confidence.

About her role this times, Han Hyo Joo said, "In the past I had roles in history dramas or roles that weren't compatible with my real age, but this time my role is just right for my age, so I believe I can show everyone my best."

She also expressed her anticipation for "Heaven's Postman."

The thing she's spent the most time on for this drama is acting. She said, "We went through the script for the first time on the 21st, and interaction with other actors is very important, but because this time we are working with many very famous people, we will focus on quality of acting."

Han Hyo Joo who will be working with TVXQ's JaeJoong said, "We met for the first time when we were going through the script, and since we aren't close regularly, it was kind of unnatural," she also stated, "YoungWoong JaeJoong attends activities with the identity of a singer, and I believe we can work together well this time to show everyone our best side," Also, "Heaven's Postman" will begin filming in early November. Release is set for May of 2009 in Korea.

Han Hyo Joo and Kim Jae Joong are confirmed as co-stars in their upcoming drama.

Jae will act as a messenger between the dead (who are in heaven) and their family and friends (who are still living). His character is very deep and mysterious.

Han Hyo Joo will act as a pure and innocent girl who lost her loved one but cannot forget him. However after working with JaeJoong at the same job, she slowly falls in love with him.

The episode of the mini-series is 120 minutes long, and the entire plot is a love story.

The producer says that in the drama (concerning the kiss scene), "the two (Jae and HHJ) both like each other. During a beautiful sunset, one of them (not specified) says, 'I want to kiss you', followed by a very touching kiss scene". They have rehearsed the drama 7 times already, and JaeJoong's acting has improved significantly. They will start filming next month, which will be adjusted into JaeJoong' schedule. The drama is due to be aired May, 2009.

JaeJoong was a gum seller during his youth?

Dong Bang Shin Ki member, Young Woong JaeJoong has revealed that he was a gum seller when he was young.

Young Woong JaeJoong has captured the hearts of his fans with his prince-like looks. However, during his appearance on KBS 2TV’s Happy Together Season 3, he revealed for the first time that he was once a gum seller when he was young.

When he was 16, JaeJoong decided to go to Seoul to fulfil his dream of becoming a singer. JaeJoong, who lived a hard life while he was at Seoul, said “The owner of the house I was staying in said ‘If you can’t produce the rent by tomorrow, I’ll evict you from your room.”

In order to come up with the 150 000 won needed to pay for the rent, he started working, taking up various jobs including being one of 100 000 soldiers for the movie, Taegeukgi Hwinallimyeo (Taegukgi: The Brotherhood of War) and selling gum, JaeJoong explained, to the great surprise of the audience and his fellow guests alike.

When JaeJoong was selling gum, due to his normal appearance (as in he didn’t have the appearance of someone who would usually do that type of work), admitted that “People would usually mistake and think that I had stolen the gum, which made it hard for me.” JaeJoong, who would walk around all day trying to sell the gum also said “Out of desperation, I went into a supermarket, where the woman working there took pity on me and said ‘I’ll buy whatever gum you have left, so don’t do that type of work anymore.’ before giving me 150 000 won.”

From this, JaeJoong continued, “Through this event, I got even more determined in my attempt to become a singer.”. JaeJoong also showed his thankfulness towards the woman he met in the supermarket during the broadcast.

Happy Together Season 3 will be broadcast on the 9th of October, 11:05 pm KST.

Wang Biho, who is known for saying stining remarks, raises the white flag to the DBSK fans “I lost. Stop bothering me” Declaration of surrender

On KBS 2TV ‘Gag Concert’, which aired on the 5th, in the ‘Peach Village School’ corner, Wang Biho said “There is still a lot of talk over the things I said about DBSK.” “I must put a complete stop to all that talk”. Last month, on the September 21st broadcast of ‘Peach Village School’, Wang Biho stingingly remarked “DBSK’s fanclub Cassiopeia has over 800,000 member so why are only 100,000 albums being sold?” This caused a lot of criticism.

Following that he complimented them saying, “DBSK was really very amazing. They are really something. U-Know Yunho, Jeon Ji Hyun ‘Shocking Meeting’ Revealed

U-Know Yunho revealed how he became involved with his ideal type, Jeon Ji Hyun.

On the broadcast of KBS ‘Happy Together Season 3′ on the 9th, Dong Bang Shin Gi member U-Know Yunho drew interest when he said, “I had the chance to meet my ideal type, Jeon Ji Hyun.”

The two recently had opportunity of meeting since Dong Bang Shin Gi has been selected as a model for a cellular company, the same brand which Jeon Ji Hyun is a model for.

In their upcoming advertisement, Yunho’s manager revealed that, “The advertisement’s concept called for Yunho and Jeon Ji Hyun to sit face to face and drink coffee,” and also added that “He suddenly became tense.”

During the advertisment shooting, Jeon Ji Hyun’s trademark long & straight hair was what enticed Yunho, evoking the curious viewers of ‘Happy Together.’

Dong Bang Shin Ki wins their #1 position on Mnet M!

Countdown just 13 days into their comeback.They won the #1 position on M!Countdown on 9th October, in Seoul Olympics Stadium, with the song ‘MIROTIC’.

This is especially a great accomplishment since it is just 1 week after their comeback special on the show.

Upon hearing the results to the ranking charts, Dong Bang Shin Ki members expressed, “We are really shocked. It took just 1 year and 7 months to prepare this album, and there are so many people who have helped us with the album. Father Lee Soo Man, we kept the promise.”

Jaejoong asks fans why they don't cheer at M! Countdown concert

So there was a lot of confusion in the Korean fandom since the M! Countdown concert because of JaeJoong. When they got to recording the Mirotic performance, there was an NG so they had some time while the black whats-its were being fixed. The members went back down but then Jaejoong poked his head back out to ask the fans why they weren't doing the cheers anymore. (As you probably know, the fans had decided to just listen quietly so people could actually hear DBSK's live after asking the guys. So there was a lot of stuff floating around about how DBSK can't agree on how they want to be cheered on either.)

You'll have to look at the floor to spot him. Just his head/shoulder is sticking out.

JJ: Please cheer a lot. Lately (I've noticed that) you haven't been doing that, you know

Didn't have time to watch the fancams of the concert but I heard that Cass cheered (but maybe too excessively) after this. Quite a few of the reports I've read said Jaejoong looked pretty satisfied after the Mirotic performance.

SM just posted a notice on DBSK's news&notice portion a little while back that the fans should stay quiet, but do the cheering at the chorus of Mirotic like Jaejoong wanted. That probably settled things since until then, all the fans were wondering how they should cheer, if they should cheer (they started a poll again), etc.

World Domination: Mexican magazine features DBSK (after previous coverage from Peru, Chile & Spain)

Yet ANOTHER special feature article on the great phenomenon & sensation called DBSK / Tohoshinki / TVXQ, by another completely far off and non-Asian country that one would never have thought would consider covering Kpop/Jpop.

A weekly Mexican entertainment magazine recently had a large page dedicated to the group, mentioning their immense popularity around the world in countries like Korea, Japan and Taiwan. They even went as far as to suggest that DBSK is ready to conquer Mexico!

Might we suggest that DBSK totally take up some Spanish classes and consider a debut in the Latin/South American countries, more so than the US itself seeing how much greater media interest is being shown there. These media outlets are literally calling out to them to come over. Of course, this is all thanks to the hundreds of fans who made their fandom known.

TVXQ are Touched by the Fans Cheer

TVXQ is a popular Korean band through out Asia. After one year and seven months, they are finally back in Korea. Despite some members catching colds and even a flu, they performed successfully on their comeback mini concert for the fans.

While back stage, Lead vocalist Jae Joong commented: "Due to the Flu, I was nervous because everyone had the flu but we're lucky to have successfully performed." Jae Joong. the source of the flu then added: "Everyone caught it from me and I am so sorry for that. Honestly we liked for a more perfect performance but so unfortunate...."

It was said that since TVXQ hasn't heard such loud and spirit-full cheers from fans that their present that night became shiny motivation for the boys.

TVXQ; Music Seizes Fans

With the release of the new album, hundred of fans gathered in front of local CD stores to get their hands on the most anticipated comeback album in Korea this season. The album even received and impressive 333,000 pre orders.

Members of TVXQ expressed they were in shock and couldn't believe it since they initially thought reacting 15,000 in sales was difficult enough. The boys were also touched by the amount of support and promised to work hard.

The 4th album was created by the ideas of the individual members:Jae Joong first came up with the title Mirotic by combining the Korean word "miro" with the English ending "tic", creating a new slang/word meaning To be trapped in a maze. The new word also reflects the fact that fans can not escape the charm of Dong Bang Skin Ki.

"We wanted to try something new while keeping the idea that only DBSK would do this sort of thing. That was not so easy."

Korean fans are using "silent -listening" method

A chinese website by the name of Baidu Bar said that recently Korean fans are using the "silent-listening" method. They said Korean Cassiopeia had come up with the cheering for Mirotic a long long time ago but after the Mini Concert 2 different opinions surfaced: one is continue with the loud cheering while they sing, the other one is to use the "silent-listening" method like Japanese fans.

A lot of people agreed with the second opinion. Because DBSK said that this album is aimed for the public, if they keep cheering loudly while the boys sing the atmosphere will be good but it will have bad effect on other viewers.

After that Cassiopeia went and ask for an opinion from the boys themselves. The answer they received was that they hope the fans will listen to their performance silently. Because of that Korean fans have decided to follow the silent-listening method from then on.

The super loud cheering you heard from Mnet was because a lot of fans lost control that day (maybe because of the unexpected fan meeting??) and they said it really had bad effects on Tv's viewer.

Korean fans dont want the same thing happen again so they carefully told everyone to keep quite during the Music Bank performance and even gave leaflets to every fan who came in that day.

Is Junsu the laziest member?

Dong Bang Shin Ki have made their fans laugh once again.

The group, who have just recently released their 4th album, 주문-미로틱(MIROTIC) featured and performed on Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate on the 27th of September.

Jaejoong Accepted the Drama Role in “Postman of Heaven”

Jaejung hero acting challenge, “given a shot/chance to working at acting”

“Postman of Heaven” is going to be produced by ‘I’m Sorry I Love You’ Lee Hyungmin PD and Writer Kitagawa Eriko who wrote “One Million Stars Falling from the Sky” staring Takuya Kimura. The drama is about a messenger who connects the Afterlife with the present world. He will be a mailman who is in charge of sending the death of a friend or family member (of a person) up to heaven. There will be a DVD of this mini-series.

Yunho mentions that Jaejoong was the first out of them to make a solo shot at career, and that in the larger framework they are still DBSK as a whole even when they are doing solo.

The drama is scheduled to be filmed as early as the 10th (October?).

This isn't one of those full dramas with 16 episodes or longer. Korean Producers and Japanese Writers are getting together and producing something called "Telecinema." There will be 7 episodes each with a different story and Jaejoong will be coming out in the 1st episode. A TV version and movie version will be released, which will be 60 minutes and 120 minutes long respectively. There is no info on when this will air.

Cassiopiea Writes Their Own Album

TVXQ fans, Cassiopeia gave their own blessings to TVXQ and their 4th Album, wishing them success with songs of their own, their own fan album.

In hopes of filling in the gaps for when TVXQ had been absent from Korea, fans started ‘Cassiopeia Sensation Project’. It’s a project of songs that make up for the year TVXQ had been away in Japan.

The album will be released in October. ‘Return to Memory’, ‘Boundless’, ‘Memory’, and ‘One More’ are few of the song titles. Many fans have composed their own music and written lyrics for the album. They have now completed 11 pieces. A lot of fans to be names as they produced everything by themselves, including raising money to pay for the cost of production.

TVXQ’s company SM Entertainment said “H.O.T. fans have done something similar in the past, it’s very hard and difficult to do, we understand how much dedication they put in. As TVXQ releases their 4th album, fans have so kindly done the same to support them, we’re really very grateful”

DBSK Takes A Psychology Test? (On PKL’s Starry Night)

The fact that those of the same blood type chose the same type of couple surprised and amused the Dong Bang boys, and in turn, their fans.
